Moss on the Mind
Moss on the Mind
This piece was inspired by a spot I used to frequent with my dad and siblings as a little girl. It was shady, mossy and a little mysterious, near the Gifford Pinchot forest in southwest Washington State. This is my interpretation of those memories, with the light filtering through the canopy onto fallen logs, and cold water flowing familiar pathways over the rocks.
This painting is done on canvas and framed in a custom stained oak floating frame. It is wired, signed and titled on the back.
