This piece was inspired by the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound as they feel at the very end of summer- golden, warm, and inviting. Pink hued rocks recede towards the gentle hills of an island in the distance, amidst undulating layers of yellow, orange, and sienna waters. Titled "Puget Sound in Late Summer", this painting is done on canvas and framed in a custom stained oak floating frame. It is wired, signed and titled on the back.
